Hi, I'm Carolina

Artist turned UX Designer

My journey into UX

I started my career as an artist, graduating with a Fine Arts degree. While art holds a special place in my heart, I quickly realised it’s not exactly what I wanted as a profession.

One thing led to another, and fast-forward several years, I came across UX Design. This new path has brought together my passion for creativity, research, and design. There’s also room for agility and innovation, which I really enjoy!

While my journey has had many twists and turns, communicating concepts and ideas has been a constant in my career. I have a knack for drawing insights from data, and I love transforming findings into aesthetic visual solutions.

A little more about me

I was born and raised in Mexico, spent some time in the US and Canada, and decided to move to beautiful New Zealand over five years ago—I haven’t looked back since!

Currently living in Christchurch, I love having a variety of outdoor activities right at my doorstep. I make the most of the beautiful sunny days to get outside, and when skies are rainy and grey you can find me cosying up with a good book, drawing, or trying new baking recipes.
